Península de Valdés: Duration: Full day. Since 08:00 hs. to 18:00hs. aprox. The excursion is organized en according to the weather and season. Available all year round. Whale season: from June to November. It consists on a visit to the faunal reservation whose main points to visit are: The interpretive center Istmo Ameghino, located at the entrance of the reservation, whose main points to visit are: The interpretive center – Ameghino Isthmus, located at the entrance of the reserve. Distant 100 km. from Pto.Madryn, we found the Tourist Villa of Puerto Pirámide. Creating a natural harbor (place from which whale watching is done), is the space chosen for those who wish to relax, taste typical dishes (fish, seafood and Patagonian lambs), be protagonists in underwater baptisms, walks and water sports in general. During the summer months there are those who seek tranquility, excellent beaches, transparent water, fun, nature and wildlife in general. Because Puerto Pirámide is a protected area (and the only permanent settlement of stable people), it is intended to impart an “ecological conscience” through it. We must remind all our visitors to have this premise to respect the environment that surrounds us. Continuing the tour, we will visit Caleta Valdés (elephant and sea lion station located at the eastern end of the Peninsula.) It has a parador, toilets, and paths to the coast, locating at this point, facing the sea, we will experience the sensations of greatness and beauty that represent the open ocean and its surroundings. SSurely with salt air breezes on our faces we will see all kinds of marine fauna and geographical features shaped by the force of nature over time that will offer us unique and unrepeatable landscapes that are difficult to forget because of the imposing surroundings. Then, we continue towards Punta Norte, another marine fauna settlement located in the far northeast. According to the season, distribution of coastal fauna and inclement weather, you can visit Punta Norte or Punta Delgada. This last station, located in the extreme southeast, has a very particular view that is accompanied by a lighthouse and its facilities. Being formerly part of a naval settlement, it can be seen from afar. Once we started our return, and after a productive day, we will return to the city to arrive around 18.00 hs.

Whale sighting: Duration: Approximately an hour and a half. Observations: They are made from June to December. We recommend warm and waterproof clothes (splashes and wind). The “embarked sightings” leave only from the tourist village of Puerto Pirámide. Being this the only port from where the boats sail, the basic advice will be provided by enlisting all the visitors for the unique experience of its kind. Once equipped with lifeguards, our passengers will be driven directly to the boats (outings previously agreed). The experience lasts an hour and a half approximately according to the weather conditions.Without having to sail too much, it is possible to see them a few meters from the coasts. With boats enabled and fully equipped from the point of view of “security”, it will be possible to fully enjoy the departure with “guaranteed” sightings. Both adults and children will be able to make the trip without major difficulties.
